The University of Agder (UiA) is located in the southern part of Norway. UiA is divided between two campuses in different cities, Campus Kristiansand and Campus Grimstad.
There are around 12 000 students studying at UiA, with about ⅔ of the students residing at Campus Kristiansand and the last third at Campus Grimstad. There are also approximately 400 exchange students coming to the university each year, although these numbers vary a little by semester.
ESN Agder assist the incoming exchange students upon arrival and during their stay in Norway, based on the principle of Students-Helping-Students, having a close working relationship with both the university and its international office, and the student welfare organization SiA.

Kristiansand: Building number 46 is available around the clock for students holding an access card. They also have access to computer lab 214. Students do not have access to the teacher education unit when it’s closed. During the exam periods the opening hours will be extended Saturdays and Sundays. This information will be provided when the exams are approaching.
Grimstad: The 24 hours zone is available for students holding an access card. During the exam periods the opening hours will be extended Saturdays and Sundays.
